currently hiding under the blankets
and reading with a flashlight because my parents think I’m sleeping (my mom’s still up due to jet lag). Why is the Hunger Games trilogy so addicting…I’m going to pull my first all-nighter in awhile, sigh.

I am twenty-nine, pocket flap folded... →
eternalwars: I am twenty-nine, pocket flap folded And I am smiling I am looking out at a world that I significantly re-created from inside Out of contradictory actions and emotions. I look like a silly child that Photograph that year—big glasses, unthought-of clothes, A suit, slight mess in general, cropped hair. And someone liked me, Loved me a lot, I think. And someone else had, you had too. I...

So this is the new year
2011 I feel like so much has happened this past year that I can’t remember. Or maybe it’s because all I can think about is pledging and it’s like nothing even existed before then. Well, I guess I’ll try my best. Remember the old, and begin with the new. Um, that’s not the expression, is it?  Spring Visiting China over break, externing at EY, freaking out because I...

why you put me on hold for hours every time I try to ask for my money back…AND why did you overcharge me $200, anyways. Angers.

Never pick sides, never chose between two
I regret my decision. I really do. In hindsight, I just don’t think it was worth it. At least, not at this time and considering the drastic sacrifices that I had to make. But oh well, what can you do except to just move forward. And I can only believe that everything happens for a reason.

What the living do →
removetheveil: Johnny, the kitchen sink has been clogged for days, some utensil probably fell down there. And the Drano won't work but smells dangerous, and the crusty dishes have piled up waiting for the plumber I still haven't called. This is the everyday we spoke of. It's winter again: the sky's a deep, headstrong blue, and the sunlight pours through the open living-room windows because...

Oh, the irony
Today, I’m going to run 7 miles. Then, I’m going to get In-N-Out and bake cupcakes. If you’re nice, maybe I’ll offer you a cupcake.

Fade with consequence, lose with eloquence
…and smile. Never leave me paralyzed, love. Leave me hypnotized, love. Something about this song, and hearing it at this moment in my life, evokes the most irrational of emotions. And these emotions threaten to destruct the very path that I have been constructing for the majority of my life. I have always prided myself on being on top of things — knowing exactly what I want and how to get...

I like the clarity of To-Do lists
Because I need the pretense of organization to conceal the complete mess that is my life. It’s so simple to just write everything down, to structure a concrete plan with each hastily scribbled phrase. Succinct and unavoidable, these lists give me a lulling comfort even if that ease turns out to be unfounded. And so, my desk and walls are plastered with pieces of paper, blending into a sea of...

AG mobilization rate
This will be the death of me, I swear. I thought it was bad during pledging but it seems to have gotten worse since then.  Case in point: AH and CX were supposed to come over around noon. And it is now 9:00pm .__.  On the plus side, I had time to be productive before they arrived. On the down side, I have not moved from my place on this couch.  OHWELL, I still have a week to get shit done LOL.
